Applying
“online” – fast, but not always a good
idea!
You can, of course, apply
online direct to the institution yourself via their website.
Many universities, schools and colleges encourage this and
it is obviously much easier and quicker than mailing your
application. However, here are some things to consider before
you do this:
You may make a mistake – it is sometimes difficult
to check for errors on a screen and
when you have sent it, you cannot change it!
Your English may not be good enough and you might be rejected
just because of this (even
if your academic scores are good)
Thousands of other applications are sent like this by other
students from all over the world.
The application is not in your handwriting –
it looks the same as all the other applications!
A handwritten application form is unique and special
to you!
Even if there is interest in your application, you will
still have to mail authenticated
documents like transcripts, certificates and references
before you receive a final offer – you
cannot send a signed reference online!
You may be wasting your time! Some universities require
very high academic and English
Language qualifications. If you apply to one of these
when your qualifications are not good
enough you will probably be unsuccessful
Before you apply online, to be more certain
of a successful application Euro-Education Services or Consortium
UK can help you in the following ways:
They can advise you about which universities will probably
accept you before you apply, so
you will not waste your time
They can help you with your English and proof read personal
statements, etc.
They can check the application before you send it
They will mail your documents free of charge
If you want to apply online, they can help you anyway
