A Guide to Tuition
Fees and Living Expenses in the UK |
The following costs are a guide only.
For exact fees, refer to the actual institution. Accommodation
expenses vary. You can get some better prices than here, but
you may have to pay more. Sharing a flat or house with other
students is usually the cheapest.
Other expenses depend on you! Shopping in markets can be cheaper
than bigger shops.
There are big "sales" with as much as 50% reductions
during January (New Year Sales) and July (Summer Sales). There
are also second-hand or "used" shops at universities
where books are really cheap. Also, look out for charity shops.
